WASH Sustainability for all
Under this directorate we teach good water hygiene and developing a plan for water system maintenance. Historically, by referring to different reports we found that; Government or NGOs have too often drilled wells and left without providing this support. Without proper care and maintenance, water may get contaminated or the well stops working and community members go back to their old water sources which are too contaminated. Water works directorate under COMT does not drill a well or do any kind of water or related projects until WASH sustainability plans have been developed.
We assist and organize this and provide proper hygiene and sanitation training. We are also working on improved services to help repair and restore non working wells. Restoring water systems.
